This weeks Matchmaking update introduces a Community Forge Island playlist featuring various maps created by community members on the free map known as Forge Island, as well new gametypes being added to Infinity Slayer & Big Team Infinity Slayer. Oh, and don’t forget your usual Spartan Ops encore details.

This playlist will feature a variety of gametypes on a selection of maps, created by the community on Forge Island. It should be noted this is a test playlist and won’t be around for the foreseeable future.

Big Team Infinity Slayer Changes
After overwhelming feedback from the community for a gametype without Plasma Grenades & Plasma Pistols in loadouts, Slayer Pro will be added to Big Team Infinity Slayer. This will be similar to the Doubles Pro variant which features FOUR loadouts and no radar and no ordnance. The DMR, Battle Rifle, LightRifle & Carbine will be your four choices in these weapon loadouts. Below are a list of all changes coming to Big Team Infinity Slayer.
- Slayer Pro adding to voting options
- Complex added to map rotation
- Voting options reorganized to provide increased variety
Infinity Slayer Changes
Just like Big Team Infinity Slayer, this playlist will be receiving an update as well which will add Slayer Pro to the gametype choice and once again it will be based off of the Doubles Pro variant. You’ll have the choice of the DMR, Battle Rifle, Carbine & LightRifle in these four loadouts. Below are a list of all changes coming to Infinity Slayer.

Spartan Ops Changes
This week we continue the ongoing encore of Season 1 of Spartan Ops, this time we will see the reintroduction of Episode 7 – Invasion.

Infinity must fend off an attack by Forerunner Prometheans.
